Geneseo Store + Marketing Lead:

Are you someone who loves leading a team, creating content, and bringing a brand to life—both in-store and online?

Katsch Boutique is looking for a strong leader to run our Geneseo store while owning the day-to-day marketing that showcases our product and connects with our customer.

This is a full-time, salaried role (40+ hours/week) that blends store leadership and marketing ownership. You’ll lead the team, drive the in-store experience, and take initiative in creating content and marketing that highlights new arrivals and drives engagement.

This role is ideal for someone who is both operationally strong and creatively driven—someone who doesn’t wait to be told what to do, but takes ownership and follows through.

What You’ll Do

Lead the Store

Oversee daily store operations and team performance
Deliver an exceptional customer experience
Maintain strong merchandising and product flow
Act as a keyholder and manage opening/closing procedures

Own Marketing & Content

Create and post content (reels, try-ons, stories, photos)
Bring forward content ideas aligned with brand direction
Manage and send email marketing campaigns
Design graphics for social, email, and in-store signage
Assist in weekly photoshoots
Edit photos in Lightroom
Manage website maintenance, layout, and product execution

Be the Face of Katsch in Geneseo

Show up on social and connect with customers
Bring energy and personality to the brand
Help drive engagement both in-store and online

What We’re Looking For

Strong leadership and communication skills
Retail experience preferred
Comfortable on camera and engaging with customers
Experience with social media and email marketing
Basic graphic design skills (Canva or similar)
Experience with Lightroom or photo editing tools preferred
Highly organized, self-motivated, and takes ownership

Position Detail

Full-time, salaried (40+ hours/week)
Based in Geneseo, IL
Flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and 1 Saturday/month
Keyholder position

Rocking the sales floor
Restocking merchandise
Unbox, tag, and display new merchandise
Clean & maintain store appearance
Loves a fast-paced, fun enviornment
Able to lift 35+ lbs and be on your feet
